Supports for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible * referral to other community services. Each school year, Timmins and District Red Cross supports over 85 schools throughout Northeastern Ontario, from Temiskaming Shores and Kirkland Lake areas, to Matheson, Iroquois Falls, Cochrane to Hearst and Constance Lake, to Timmins & surrounding areas, and up to the James Bay Coast, reaching close to 16,000 students and serving over 1.5 million snacks and breakfasts annually.  We ensure that all students, regardless of social or financials situations, have access to the program, in order to be well-nourished and ready to learn.
